Cacace, Tusch & Santagata is proud to announce the addition of Attorney Danielle J.B. Edwards of Stamford as an associate of the firm. Danielle will concentrate her practice on civil litigation, trial and appellate matters, real estate and zoning, and trusts and estate planning.
Prior to joining Cacace, Tusch & Santagata, Danielle served as a law clerk for the Connecticut Judicial Branch, where she provided research and support to Superior Court judges, analyzing and briefing complex legal issues involving civil, criminal, and probate matters. Danielle received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2010, where she served as membership editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy, and was the recipient of a merit scholarship. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Washington. Before entering law school Danielle worked in the Cummings & Lockwood trusts and estates department as a legal assistant.
“Danielle is an excellent addition to our team. Her research, writing and advocacy skills will provide an outstanding benefit to our clients,” said partner, Mark Santagata. “The breadth of the experience she gained researching issues for Connecticut judges was invaluable, as was the goodwill she established with the court.”
